New DICOM Features and Workflow Improvements Added to the MRI Simulator

A couple of much-awaited features that help us close the gap between a real physical unit and our virtual MRI scanner have now been released. Many experienced users will recognize the DICOM features from the machines they operate daily and we are happy to now have them as a part of the user interface when running the virtual MRI scanner.

New DICOM viewer functionalities:

  • Scrolling with the mouse wheel
  • Windowing the image contrast/brightness
  • Zooming the image in/out with the image viewer
  • Panning the image within the image viewer
  • Resetting the image

New Workflow improvements:

  • You are now able to copy slices from one sequence to another, whether the sequence you are copying from is completed or still running

As always, let us know if you have any feedback, would like to know more about the virtual MRI scanner or just want a quick demo.
