Corsmed’s MRI simulator software was used to help facilitate the learning outcomes of an advanced cardiac MR course given in Lund. In the training session, the 50 course participants could individually practice running MR scans and protocols for many hours each.
Lund University and Lund Hospital runs an advanced cardiac MR course for Ph.D. students and practitioners annually. The 50 participants span a range of radiographers, radiologists, medical physicists, engineers and biomedical scientists. Over the 5-day course, the participants get to experience the fundamentals and latest within cardiac MR.
During the course, a practice session was ran. In the session, each course participant had access to a computer running Corsmed’s MRI simulator software. As such, each participant could, in their own pace and time, run several different protocols and learn how the protocols and parameters could be manipulated for different scenarios.
