Corsmed Raises $3.5M from Luminar and Big Pi to Save 100M Lives

At Corsmed, this is our purpose. And with our latest funding round of $3.5 million from Luminar Ventures and Big Pi Ventures, achieving that number is now possible!

MRI is the key to unlocking true preventive healthcare at scale. We imagine a world where getting high-quality MRI is common routine – so that no disease is ever discovered late. This funding will allow us to accelerate our mission to save 100 million lives.

Many leading MRI colleges and hospitals are already using Corsmed’s MRI simulator to educate their students and upskill their MRI technologists, including:

1. NHS (National Health Services) in UK
2. London Imaging Academy
3. CNI College
4. British Columbia Institute of Technology
5. Gurnick Academy
6. City, University of London

In addition to our MRI simulator, we at Corsmed are also developing a new cutting-edge software that will speed up the MRI scanner itself – so that a 45-min scan can be done in just 2-3 minutes.

Together, the simulator and the new speed-enhancing scanner software will make our vision of ultra-fast MRI scans for everyone a reality. And the funding we have secured from Luminar Ventures and Big Pi Ventures is essential to make this happen.
